TRAVEL TO SAN FRANCISCO
San Francisco is served by two major airports:  San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK).  Direct flights from most major US cities are available to either airport.  Lower-cost airlines such as Southwest, JetBlue and Virgin America have hubs in the Bay Area as well.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION.  From SFO, convenient and inexpensive public transportation is available via BART (Bay Area Regional Transit) direct from to downtown San Francisco.  For details, http://www.bart.gov/guide/airport/inbound_sfo.aspx.
