Objective: To create and share content with US HUPO members through LinkedIn and X.
Desired Qualifications:
Social Media Chair Responsibilities:
o Additional engagement will be requested in the weeks leading up to the annual conference and live posts at the Annual Conference.
o All posts should include hashtags to help drive engagement.
o US HUPO encourages using images to accompany posts and personality (when appropriate) to increase visibility.
o Can retweet posts that would be of interest to the US HUPO membership (beyond the 4 new monthly US HUPO specific posts).
o Conference location highlights (i.e. 10 reasons to come to the conference location)
o Conference program highlights (featured speakers, short courses, etc.)
o Sneak peeks on upcoming ECR and events
o Registration and award deadline reminders
Responsibilities & Requirements:
o Avoid posting about politics, controversial science, or anything negative in tone, unless directed to do so by the Board of Directors. When in doubt, ask!
o Avoid personal biases; keep the tone of all posts positive.
